Just saw these three things in the same parking lot: A 1968-ish Plymouth Fury Suburban survivor, a Sky Redline, and the unicorn - an actual R63 AMG in the flesh. I’m assuming all of these are DD’s. So, Oppo... DD/Track/Burn?

R63 for all 3. DD and Track it until it self-immolates
![]() 09/18/2017 at 17:53 |

DD the R63 and make a run for it so I don’t have to go near the other two.

DD: Fury
Track: Sky Redline
Burn: Stupid Van

Burn the Saturn
DD the van
Track the Fury

So guessing this isn’t the R63 that Doug D drove.

DD-Plymouth

Dd:r63

I think we are reaching a consensus.
DD-Plymouth
Track- Saturn
Burn- the wallet destroying time bomb.

DD: Fury because it boss and balls.
Track: The minivan because trackday with friends
Burn: Badge-engineered also-ran

DD Fury, track Sky, burn the one from the company responsible for the 25 year rule.
![]() 09/18/2017 at 18:04 |

Too bad the only thing that comes to mind for me now with the R63 is “head bolts”.
![]() 09/18/2017 at 18:05 |

Track the Fury. DD the AMG. Burn the Redline.
Wait... I think I’m doing this wrong.
![]() 09/18/2017 at 18:15 |

Daily Fury
Track Saturn
Burn the AMG.
Edit: The amount of people who chose the same results as me fills me with a warm feeling.

Daily the merc
Track the Pontiac
Burn the Fury
![]() 09/18/2017 at 18:25 |

DD the R63,
Track the Saturn Sky
Burn the old Fury... which would be shit to DD or Track.

DD, track, burn in the order you presented them.

Only correct answer here.

I’ve never seen an R63 outside of a car show. Impressive.

daily road race the fury.........

After seeing someone autocross and Odyssey, I really want to get shuttled around a track in an R-class. Even just the diesel one.

On one hand the MB is from an era where it deserves to be burned, but on the other I don’t know if I can because it is so rare and so nutty.
![]() 09/18/2017 at 19:00 |

Yeah I actually did a double take and drove back around real slow to make sure I wasn’t imagining it. I’m surprised I didn’t get stopped by security.

No, but it seems like they are almost all silver.

Just realized I never answered my own question:
Daily the Merc, even though it would kill the wallet.
Track the Fury for comedic effect.
Burn the parts-bin special even though there are only like 10,000 Redline’s out there and in reality with the turbo it probably makes a pretty fun and decently efficient daily.
![]() 09/18/2017 at 19:04 |

The MB is the best car on paper by a long shot. DD/Track/burn is not supposed to be logical.
![]() 09/18/2017 at 19:34 |
|
Which is why I want to track the Plymouth :)
![]() 09/18/2017 at 19:54 |

I like how everyone is deciding to burn what’s probably the most reliable thing here.
![]() 09/18/2017 at 20:40 |

Yeah - have noticed that. Of course the classic combo for MB is silver/red interior.
![]() 09/18/2017 at 20:55 |

A silver over red R107 is like perfection to me.
![]() 09/18/2017 at 21:00 |

DD sky
track the plymouth
burn the r63, before it burns my wallet

You know, if I had to choose one car for the rest of my life, that might be it. But thinking me wants airbags, but ... a nice ‘79? Ooooo ....
![]() 09/18/2017 at 21:25 |

DD r63, track sky, burn the unsafe death trap.
![]() 09/22/2017 at 05:39 |

Daily the Merc because it’s awesome and useful (and total maintainable right).
Track the Plymouth for sake of silly antics/preserving a classic.
Burn the Saturn, it might be good to drive but it’s still full of 00s GM materials.

No no no...
part
the Sky. That thing makes 290 hp stock from an l4. Stick it in literally anything else.
